The Sun: A Symbol For Michael Pearl's God

As I mentioned in the article, "Michael Pearl's Eight Kingdoms: Masonic Symbolism," Michael Pearl's dispensational work, Eight Kingdoms, displays point within a circle symbolism on the front cover. (It is also on the back cover.)

If you read the article, "What is Point Within a Circle Symbolism" you have already learned that the point within a circle symbol refers to sun-worship:

The point within the circle is an interesting and important symbol in Freemasonry. . . The SYMBOL IS REALLY A BEAUTIFUL BUT SOMEWHAT ABSTRUSE ALLUSION TO THE OLD SUN-WORSHIP, and introduces us for the first time to that modification of it, known among the ancients as the WORSHIP OF THE PHALLUS.

(Quote source: Albert Mackey as quoted in his book, A Manual of the Lodge, pg 56 by Dr. Cathy Burns in Masonic and Occult Symbols Illustrated, page 27)

You also know the point within a circle is a symbol of the sun-god RA and it represents Freemasonry's concept of God:

The point within a circle is one of the hieroglyphic signs of the sun-god, RA, but is is not merely an image of the solar disc. For one thing it is a masonic symbol, and H. A. Giles, the Chinese scholar, who  is himself a Mason, tells us it is held to represent the One Supreme Power, whatever that power may be, the Great architect of the Universe, recognized alike by ourselves and our brother Masons of every religious denomination. . . .

(Quote source: Albert Churchward, a Mason as quoted by Dr. Cathy Burns in her book, Hidden Secrets of the Eastern Star -- page 193)

In view of this information please note that Mr. Pearl went even farther than blatantly marking his Eight Kingdoms book with a sun-god/phallic worship symbol.

Michael Pearl directly stated that the sun [is] a symbol of God:

"The sun, a symbol of God, emits alpha, beta and gamma rays."

(Quote source: Divine Design by Michael Pearl, page 6)

The late Albert Pike, a Luciferian (1) and highly influential Mason, wrote that the power of his deity is symbolized by the sun:

"The sun is the ancient symbol of the life-giving and generative power of the Deity."

(Quote source: http://www.rense.com/general85/lucifer.htm)

The sun is not a symbol of the real God, the God of the Holy Bible. THERE IS NO SYMBOL FOR GOD. The God of the Holy Bible forbids man to create images or pictures to symbolize his person!

The "Sun-God" is Satan

Satan, under various names, has received glory to himself via sun worship (2) throughout the course of history. Below are a few examples of sun worship in different religions:

In Babylon it was Nimrod, in Egypt-Osiris, the Canaanites worshipped Baal and in Greece, it was Apollo. The New Age Sun God is called the 'Solar Logos' or 'The Word' thereby blasphemously counterfeiting the Biblical Jesus Christ.

(Quote source: Lucifer Rising http://www.rense.com/general85/lucifer.htm)

Osiris, who is really Lucifer, is the Sun God of Freemasonry:

Freemasons view the circle as the Sun, and utilize it in their worship of the Sun, and the Sun God, Osiris [The Masonic Quiz Book , p. 163].

(Quote source: http://cuttingedge.org/free13.html)

The sun was the most important of the Egyptian gods:

The sun, most important of the Egyptian deities, had many names, and the interpretations given to his functions were extremely varied.

(Quote source: Masonic and Occult Symbols Illustrated, by Cathy Burns page 160)

Sun worship is integral to the Hindu religion:

The Vedic scriptures of the Hindu religion refer to the sun as the store house of inexhaustible power and radiance. This sun god is referred to as Surya or Aditya. The Vedas are full of hymns describing the celestial body as the source and sustainer of all life on earth.

And also the ancient Greeks:

Helios, the sun god of the ancient Greeks, was usually represented riding a chariot which was drawn by four, often winged, horses.

(Quote source: http://www.macedoniansincanada.com/SS5%20Rays_of_the_sun_god.htm)

Witches regard Lucifer as the "God of the Sun":

Witches believe that Lucifer is the God of the Sun, and the Sun God is also known as the `Horned God` (Lucifer is also known as the "Angel of Light). Many of the Witch's holy days revolve around the Sun such as the Yule. A large part of their belief system is the concept of the Sun weakening and the world dying, then on the Winter Solstice the Sun God Lucifer is reborn and warms the Earth.

(Quote source: Lucifer Rising http://www.rense.com/general85/lucifer.htm)

Wiccans regard the sun as a symbol of God:

European tradition has the Sun as male, so any image of the Sun is, in Wicca, a God symbol.

(Quote source: http://www.wicca-spirituality.com/god-symbol.html)

Sunburst images are common in Roman Catholicism. See: http://www.aloha.net/~mikesch/sunburst.htm

Closing Statements

Regardless of the fact that Michael Pearl substituted Satan for God in his illustrated bible Good and Evil, and wrote, "the sun, a symbol of God" in his By Divine Design book, Satan cannot be interchanged with God and the sun is not a symbol of God. Images of the sun (or sunburst) symbolize the "sun-god" who is Satan.

Notes:

(1) In his book Morals and Dogma, Albert Pike wrote; "The Masonic religion should be, by all of us initiates of the high degrees, maintained in the purity of the Luciferian doctrine. . . Yes, Lucifer is God, and unfortunately Adonay (Jesus) is also God. For the eternal law is that there is no light without shade, no beauty without ugliness, no white without black, for the absolute can only exist as two Gods: darkness being necessary to light to serve as its foil as the pedestal is necessary to the statue, and the brake to the locomotive."
